Submissions for our first issue are now closed. Thanks to everyone who has submitted. We will be reading everything over the next month and will get back to you.
Submissions for the next issue will also be themed as they will link to Wordsmithery’s ‘Assemblance of Judicious Heretics’ project, then in our next two issues we will be open for unthemed submissions.
Submissions for Issue 2 should have a Shakespearean theme. ‘An Assemblance of Judicious Heretics‘ is a collaborative literary and visual art project. Writers write to our theme, then artists interpret the anonymous writings which we curate as an exhibition in Rochester, Kent in October.
Issue 2 of Confluence will showcase art and writing from this project. We would also like to invite submissions of writing which will not be part of the exhibition (so won’t be made into art), but will feature in the next issue of the magazine. The deadline for Issue 2 is midnight on 30 September.
